8th Annual Vancouver International Burlesque Festival
The VIBF is the premiere burlesque event held annually in Vancouver. The next festival is scheduled for May 2-4, 2013.

Blue Morris - President
Blue Morris is a guitar player, burlesque producer, and highly respected guitar teacher in Vancouver.
Blue has been a major force in bringing live music back to burlesque. He is the producer of the immensely popular shows "Beatles Burlesque" and "Dirty Dancing Burlesque" in Vancouver, and a co-creator of Pink Flamingo Burlesque.
Blue performs with numerous burlesque, rock, blues, and jazz groups across North America. Highlights include the Burlesque Hall of Fame (Las Vegas), Tease-O-Rama (San Francisco), Windy City Burlesque Festival (Chicago), the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, and countless others.
Stevie Lix - Vice President
Stevie Lix is honoured and tickled pink to be on the board of the 2013 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival! Having been a volunteer for the past four festivals, she draws her experience from planning corporate events and co-producing all four "Save the Brains: A Rock and Roll Fundraiser"
Back in 2007 she attended her first burlesque show and was mesmerized by the beauty and diversity of such an accepting and wonderful community of people. She shimmied and wiggled her way into an amazing world of imagination and creativity and she can't wait to show the world how much amazing talent Vancouver has to offer!
Sparkle Plenty - Secretary
Sparkle Plenty's love for Vancouver and its eclectic arts scene makes it an honour and a privilege to be sitting on the VIBF Board of Directors for the second year in a row. This dazzling darling has been on stage and behind the scenes in countless burlesque productions since she made her debut in 2008.
Sparkle Plenty is an active member and performer with the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society and co-producer of the surf rock, tropical fever dream, Bender in Bermuda. Sparkle is an advocate for transparency, accessibility, and community building which is why she's thrilled to contribute to one of Vancouver's most dazzling festivals in a more meaningful way.
Vanity Feral - Treasurer
Since hitting the stage in August 2011, Vanity has taken a bite out of all things burlesque. Along with being a performer, she is also Production Assistant for Blue Morris Productions, will soon be sharing the lighting design duties at Kitty Nights West with Mike Cooper and Roxette Star, and is pleased to add Treasurer for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival to the list.
Vanity's foray into burlesque builds upon a long history with live event production and the entertainment industry. She brings a wealth of experience working in non-profits, governance and financial management to the VIBF board.She looks forward to helping create a stable foundation for a sustainable festival.

April O'Peel - Member-at-Large
A Vancouver Burlesque fan favorite, April O’Peel has recently been seen at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, where she was awarded "Most Comedic" overall.
Choreographer and feature dancer for both The Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society and The Razzle Tassel Tease Show, April spends her time performing, teaching Burlesque classes and serving on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival.
Michael Cooper - Member-at-Large
Cooper is excited to be a part of the seventh annual Vancouver International Burlesque Festival. He draws from his 10 years of experience in technical theatre. He hopes that he can bring some fresh ideas and his pick up truck to help grow the festival.
Mike also brings dance experience to the board. He can usually be found 'behind the rail' at the Massey Theatre dancing along to all your favorite musicals.
Nicky Ninedoors - Member-at-Large
A classically trained musician, professional vocalist and music instructor, Nicky Ninedoors is one of the driving talents contributing to Vancouver's acclaimed live jazz and burlesque collective, Pandora and The Locksmiths.
A frequent performer in Vancouver, Nicky is known for her larger than life costumes, character, and voice. Her dedication to quality in performing and producing can be witnessed in Guilt & Co, where Pandora and The Locksmiths' monthly live music and burlesque shows have filled the venue since their launch in September 2010.
Nicky is thrilled and honoured to be serving the Vancouver burlesque community during her two year term with the festival, and greatly looks forward to sharing her passion for quality, diversity, and sustainability with the incredibly hard working and talented members of the board.
